Being a lifestyle photographer based in San Diego, I get to meet so many amazing families from all different backgrounds and states! This sweet family of six was no exception – they were such a joy to photograph! Family photography is one of my favorite session styles to book. I love seeing that joy and closeness between families blossom throughout the images.
Laughter and play during family sessions
The late afternoon light was perfectly golden and dreamy for our session, and there was definitely no shortage of laughter and play. How can there be when you’ve got so much love to go around? Being a family photographer is one of my most favorites roles in my job, because there’s a beautiful chaos that unfolds revealing raw love and real moments. I just love capturing those sweet moments between siblings and parents. Watching families grow is one of my favorite highlights of documenting memories – I love playing a part of your growing seasons! Seeing little Bennett for the first time since his mama had him in her belly was such a joy – he loved chasing his siblings around and running into his mama’s arms!
Center of their parent’s whole world
Last time I photographed this family, their youngest (Bennett) was in his mama’s tummy! The Young family moved here 3 years ago when Jennifer was pregnant with baby Bennett. The first time I did their photos, our family session was focused on photos of the siblings. I’m so glad mom and dad decided to join in on the photo session fun this time! Bennett definitely brings the energy and playfulness to the family, and it was evident just from their laughter and interactions together that these sweet kiddos are best buds and the center of their parent’s whole world.
Full House with full hearts
Is there anything better than a group hug from a family of six?! This session was filled with so much laughter and giggles! This is what memory-making and picture-taking is all about. Documenting your babies getting taller, their personalities getting bigger, your love for them growing fonder…nothing compares to the joy these little years will bring from having a full house with full hearts. 
Natural beauty of San Diego
This sweet family really loves nature and the outdoors, so of course our family session had to take place outside in the natural beauty of San Diego! This field was perfect for them – the kids could run around, and mom and dad enjoyed being outside in minutes away from their San Diego home.
