This sweet mama reached out to me on Instagram to photograph their family. This session was our first time working together for family photos! We hit it off right away with our similarities in that we are both boy mamas, we are invested in healthy & nourishing foods and love using clean products in our home, and we also both homeschool our kids. Joys of Being a Boy Mama
You can say that I have a special place in my heart for boy mamas – and their boys are absolutely adorable! We had so much fun at their session and it was so evident the love mom and dad have for their babies. I can totally relate to the rambunctious chaos that having two little boys brings, and I was right at home capturing their playfulness as they chased each other through the field and tumbled into silly tickle fights.
Dream Photo Session
When mom and I were planning her session, she said her dream photo session was “capturing photos that shows the love I have for my family.” And you can bet that we did just that – it was hard not to see that warmth and love overflowing throughout our session! I have so many favorite images, I just want to frame them all.
San Diego Sunshine
The location we chose was just dreamy – full of natural golden light and San Diego sunshine. This family always had their previous sessions done at the beach, and wanted a change of scenery for the session we captured together.

One of the things I love offering to all of my mama clients is full hair and makeup (complete with wardrobe styling for the whole family, too!). For this session, Hair & Make-up was done by
Style N Gloss. Every mama deserves to be completely pampered and taken care of, and what’s better than capturing that glow of motherhood than after you’ve been styled head to toe? Clothing from this session was borrowed from my client wardrobe collection – this curated collection offers timeless and neutral pieces in multiple sizes for babies through adults. Each piece is hand-picked to reflect your personalities, vibe and theme of your session, and work with any home decor color pallet/style.
