If there’s one thing all parents tell me they want during their baby’s newborn session, it’s to forever remember their newborn’s tiny and delicate features. Your little one is only this little for such a short amount of time, and they change so much within the first few months of their life. Capturing their squishy cheeks, the soft fall of their hair against their forehead, the way their eyes glimmer as they watch your smile, the tiny folds that appear when they curl their toes – these sweet, little details are what make up the life you’ve just welcomed into the world.

As a mama, I just want top bottle up all of those little memories of my boys when they were tiny babes! Remembering their first weeks with you within pictures is such a special keepsake to have.

Bonding with your new baby

Mom and dad really enjoyed some quiet time together as a new family of three while little Axton slept for most of the session. When he opened his eyes and looked up at his daddy, fond memories of my own babies being held close by their dad came flooding back. Those first few weeks of bonding are what really solidify the love you and your new baby share together. Documenting that love in timeless portraits allows that feeling to be forever remembered.
