San Diego Newborn Photographer | Henry

Oh Henry, I am in love. Henry spent the beginning part of the session with his bright, blue eyes wide open. Calm but alert, just watching and almost studying everything around him. At one month old, it is not usually the case for a newborn to be so focused. What Henry was focused on the most was his mommy and daddy. It was amazing to see him hold focus on them for so long, so deliberately, and with just a hint of a smile on his sweet face. Henry has almost a natural smile when he is at rest.

Henry eventually fell into a deep sleep and we were able to take that time to get some natural sleepy shots of Henry. Capturing all of the tiny details that make a newborn a newborn is one of my main goals during newborn sessions. His tiny stretches and little sleepy smiles will be a thing of the past as Henry grows from a newborn to a baby to a toddler. Those moments and details are ones that will forever be preserved, and, it is my hope, cherished memories of this little one’s beginnings. Congratulations to this beautiful new family of three.
