As you hold your new love in your arms, studying every piece of her, what do you want to remember most in three months … a year … 10 years … 20 years? The tiniest of details? The flaky newborn skin, the paper thin nails, the creased hands and feet. The barely there lashes, wispy hair? Those sleepy smiles and pouty lips?

You want to remember all of those things. You want to remember every little thing about your brand new baby who captured your whole heart in an instant. The newborn stage is gone in an instant. My number one priority during newborn sessions is to capture all the tiny details of your new little one so that you can hold onto those memories forever.

Meet Emma. She is perfection in a tiny package. She had the most adorable little mouth, and kept giving me the tiniest, sweetest smile and sleeping with her little tongue out. Her mommy and daddy are absolutely smitten with her. Emma has filled their heart with so much love and joy, you can see it on their face. I loved capturing these sweet first moments of this new mommy and daddy with their precious Emma. She is one lucky little lady.
