Excitement and love.

That is what I see when I look at these images of these two from their beach maternity session. So much love. For each other and for their baby boy. So much excitement and anticipation to finally hold their new love in their arms and soak in every little detail. However, in this moment, they are soaking in those last moments together as a couple when it is just the two of them. Before their world forever changes and soon they forget what that life was like. The way that Hector looks at Shauna is so incredibly sweet. In Hector’s eyes, Shauna has never looked so beautiful. And she is gorgeous. She is absolutely glowing, and looked stunning in a beautiful dress she selected from our client wardrobe collection.

It was a beautiful evening at the beach with gorgeous light. Shauna is so peaceful, and truly enjoying this journey. Much like pregnancy, the ocean is full of wonder and awe, making it a perfect backdrop for maternity sessions. The whole gallery is just dreamy, and everything that I hope a maternity session gallery will be. It is not hard to do, though, when your clients are as beautiful and in love as Shauna and Hector!

They just welcomed their baby boy Xander to the world, and I was fortunate to have captured this incredibly special moment in time. Their arms and their hearts are so full. I can’t wait to share their newborn session in the weeks to come.
