San Diego Beach Family Photography

I love when I get to capture special memories of home for clients. When this sweet family reached out to me for a San Diego beach family photography session, mom said she was drawn to the organic, light & airy, natural, and whimsical look in my photos. They now live in Las Vegas where her husband is stationed. They were in San Diego visiting family, and wanted to capture family photos in a place that felt like home.

Luckily I had some last minute availability and we were able to pull the shoot together in only a few days! That is one of the benefits of borrowing from my client wardrobe! Photographing Children’s Personalities

Their twin boys are seriously the cutest! They are 15 months old, and I loved watching their playful energy come out throughout the session. These tangible memories that capture their unparalleled sibling bond will always be so special to mom and dad. Seeing their personalities shine through each image creates an experience that becomes tangible when looking back at family photos. Photographing those in between, candid moments creates an organic and natural experience within our session.

Light and Airy, Organic Photography

I love photographing in natural light because it creates a light and airy, organic feel to your portrait session. I start by directing you into natural movements that lead into an unstaged and candid experience. Life is unpredictable, and full of moments that flow together naturally. I love capturing the in-between moments during our session! Such as the sigh you let out when your baby snuggles into your shoulder. Or, the unexpected kiss you share with your hubby. And, the glimpse your little one gives you behind their shoulder to make sure you’re still near. These little moments define your family, and encompass the uniqueness of who you are.

A Special Bond Between Father and Son

This dad was loving on his little boys so much! You could really see the special bond the three of them share together. As much as I love to capture motherhood, fatherhood is just as amazing of a bond to photograph. There is something so wonderful about the way a dad loves on his children.

I am so passionate about documenting this season of early childhood for families. I love when dads are in shoots! All of the sweet emotion that parenthood brings is captured within our imagery.
