Kyle recently turned one, and celebrated with a one year session. It was truly a perfect Summer evening the night of Kyle’s session. Beautiful golden light, warm hazy air, and plenty of love to go around. At one year old, Kyle is such a happy baby boy filled with smiles and laughs. He has his mama’s smile and his daddy’s eyes and hair. Kyle loves his parents fiercely, and you can feel the love he has for them. He loves to be in his mama’s arms, and they both light up when he is there.
What I love most about one year sessions is pureness and simplicity. Capturing the baby just as he or she is. The toothy grins, wispy hair, and sweet snuggles. Props are limited to a few classic, timeless toys. Clothes are kept neutral and soft. This allows the focus to be on the baby, on the relationships and on the love of family. Kyle’s one year gallery is exactly how I envision one year sessions to be. A forever reminder of your baby as he was on his first birthday because we all know they grow way too quick.
