“You Are My Sunshine” was the perfect theme to celebrate Annie’s 1st year and birthday party, and these images encapsulate just how much sunshine she brings to her Mom and Dad.
One of the joys of outdoor photography in San Diego is portrait sessions with children–their innocence and joy are palpable and allow for so many special shots. I have been photographing Annie since she was in her mama’s tummy. Somehow, a year has gone by, and this beautiful girl has never ceased to bring light and life to those around her.

One of my favorite locations to shoot is North County, San Diego. On a warm Spring evening, this location provided the quintessential backdrop for Annie to shine. Not walking quite yet, she held on to Mom and Dad for support during an evening stroll. It was impossible not to bask in the love and adoration these parents have for their baby girl as they took tiny steps with their sweet one-year-old. Mom looked stunning in her dress borrowed from studio wardrobe and Dad beamed proudly at his darling little girl. Mom’s natural beauty was enhanced by the amazing hair & make-up artist; Liz with Style & Gloss.
