I always get asked about clients whether I prefer the field or the beach for maternity sessions and it’s such a hard call because I honestly love them equally just as much. And I am also the most indecisive person ever, so I’m sure that doesn’t help. Ha!

Seriously though, I LOVE them both so very much! They both provide such a beautiful backdrop to document the incredibly special season of your lives as you welcome a new baby.

Dad Deserves to be Celebrated Too

When Sarah and I met for her pre session consultation and styling appointment she shared that she was really drawn to my photos with dad included.  She said “I want Steve to feel just as special as I do; he makes me feel special everyday, like a superhero.” Whelp if I would have been pregnant then, I probably would have bawled my eyes out right then and there because that is about the sweetest thing I have ever heard. So often pregnancy and the excitement surrounds the mama which makes sense because she is the one growing and nurturing this beautiful life inside her. But dad is also along on this beautiful journey and deserves to be celebrated too! I absolutely adore capturing a couples’ growing bond, love, excitement, and anticipation as they soon begin a life more beautiful than they could ever imagine.
