Over the Moon

They are expecting their first baby and are just over the moon with love!

I absolutely loved working with this happy, loving couple on the beach for their maternity photography session. Their love for one another and their soon to be bundle of joy was so evident. Their smiles and affectionate eyes showed all of their eagerness and anticipation for welcoming their new little one into the world.

Beautiful Carlsbad Beach

We took to the beach in Carlsbad to highlight their growing family in this beach maternity photography session and it was perfect. We captured the best pictures at sunset. The lights and colors playing off the water could not have been a more remarkable background for their growing love and baby.

As they walked in the soft sand, the rolling waves in the background made for the most serene pictures. They looked so at peace in this setting and the tranquility of the beach made their photos that much more stunning.

Mom’s Look

The beautiful dress that highlighted mom perfectly was borrowed from my client wardrobe. Her hair and makeup were styled by Liz at Style and Gloss.

Perfect Fit

When this mama to be reached out to me, she knew that there wasn’t a set photo in her mind. However, it was important that her pictures be “classic, natural, and timeless images that capture ‘the bump’ and this time in our lives.” I knew from that statement alone that we would be the perfect fit!

I love capturing pure, organic, timeless photos during my maternity photography sessions. Her thoughts are exactly my style. We had such a great evening and captured some of their most precious moments.

The colors at the beach are always the most natural and genuine to make the love and happiness of a couple the focal point of all photographs.
